Commission works to improve Turkey’s image internationally
Founded in 2005, the Country Communication Committee operates with support from the Country Comminication Department, which is part of the TUSIAD General Secretary’s Office. The commission carries out projects to promote Turkey internationally and performs various domestic and foreign activities in order to facilitate positive relations with the EU and to eliminate prejudices that have formed in the minds of European decision makers and the European public. Since 2007, it has been working with local public relations companies in Germany and France in order to develop a clear strategy for communications and promotion activities that are planned outside of Turkey. The Country Communication Committee chaired by Lucien Arkas administers two working groups in Germany and France.
