MSC Magnifica begins tours departing from Turkey

The newest ship in the Musica class, the MSC Magnifica, will offer its passengers a voyage they will never forget with a tour of the Aegean and Adriatic that it will offer from 23 March to 17 November with weekly departures from Izmir and Istanbul.

Operating in Turkey in partnership with Arkas Holding since 2005, MSC Cruises is Europe’s largest cruise ship company. It began offering tours departing from Turkey in 2005, and continues to expand with its newest ship, the MSC Magnifica, which will take its maiden voyage on March 7th. The ship will depart weekly from Izmir and Istanbul, and will stop at the beautiful ports of Dubrovnik, Venice, Bari and Katakolon. The MSC Magnifica can take on 3,013 passengers, who can lodge in 1,275 cabins, 809 of which have balconies. Passengers can enjoy 22,000 square meters of living space with a multitude of activities, three swimming pools with one just for children, fitness/recreation rooms, a jogging path, a sauna, Turkish sauna, jacuzzis, four restaurants, 10 bars, including two outdoor bars, a three-storey, 250-seat theatre hall, a casino, a disco and shops.

A raft of fun tours with 11 ships
MSC Cruises will offer a range of tour alternatives with 11 magnificent ships in its fleet that will ply the Mediterranean, Aegean, Adriatic, northern Europe, Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Islands and North and South America. From 28 March to 31 October, the MSC Fantasia will offer an 8-day, 7-night tour of the western Mediterranean that will visit the ports of Genoa, Naples, Palermo, La Goulette, Palma Majorca, Barcelona and Marseilles each week. From 27 March to 6 November, the MSC Splendida will offer an 8-day, 7-night tour of the western Mediterranean that will visit the ports of Genoa, Marseilles, Barcelona, La Goulette, La Valletta, Messina and Civitavecchia-Rome.

MSC Cruises has also put together tour programs to northern Europe and the western Mediterranean that include airfare, transfer and travel insurance. Those who are interested can take an 8-day, 7-night tour of the Baltic Capitals on July 4th on the MSC Poesia, which will visit the ports of Copenhagen, Kiel, Stockholm, Tallinn and St. Petersburg. The MSC Orchestra will visit the ports of Copenhagen, Kiel, Oslo, Stavanger, Flaam and Hellesyt/Geiranger on an 8-day, 7-night Norwegian Fiords tour on July 17th.
