CHARTERING DEPARTMENT

Arkas Chartering Department acts as ‘in-house broker’ of Arkas Group and the main activity is marketing and managing  of employments for Arkas container fleet. Please click here for our fleet list. These vessels are employed worldwide service and most of them chartered out to major container lines and/or feeder operators under short and long term time charter contracts.
 
Arkas Chartering Department also handles tonnage requirements for Arkas Group liner companies operated by Arkas Line and Emes Feedering SAM.  Having strong connections with container vessel owners and via network of close competitive shipbrokers, we are working to find right employment to cover their needs for tonnage. The tonnage ranges from small feeder to handy sizes for trading mainly full Mediterranean and Black Sea services.
 
In addition to charter negotiations/fixing, we are also carrying out the ‘post fixture’ day to day operations which include preparation of periodical statements and following up of hires, establishing an effective information flow between the parties in the context of operational, legal and commercial aspects.
