New Vessel Sharing Agreements from Arkas and Seago
Arkas and Seago are going to sign 2 new Vessel Sharing Agreements to be implemented in mid-January 2018. The VSA partners’ current 4 services will be merged into 2 jointly operated ones.
1) Arkas Line’s “Spain EastMed Service (SEM)” will be merging with Seago’s “Mediterranean Sea Service”, with a total deployment of 4 x 2500 TEU vessels. The new weekly rotation will be;
Tangier – Algeciras – Valencia – Castellon (*) – Barcelona – Alexandria – Beirut – Mersin – Iskenderun – Lattakia – Izmir (Aliağa) – Tangier

2) “Spain Morocco Service (SMS)” of Arkas will be merging with Seago’s “Ligurian Sea Service”, with a total deployment of 4 x 2500 TEU vessels. New weekly rotation will be;
Haifa – Genoa – Fos Sur Mer – Barcelona – Valencia – Algeciras (*) – Tangier – Casablanca – Algeciras – Genoa – Alexandria – Haifa

Additionally, the current “Aegean Spain Service (ASA) & Marmara Sea Service” VSA of Arkas & Seago, will be replacing the call at Thessaloniki with a call at Piraeus in order to improve schedule reliability. Thessaloniki will be served by the new “Turkey Greece Service (TGS)” which will be operated by EMES Feedering, with a rotation of Piraeus – Thessaloniki – Istanbul – Piraeus.
